I was sick of looking at that last journal entry for so long. And it occurred to me that my dART page definitely says that I am 20 years old when I turned 22 in July. Oops!

So I received a Canon Powershot point-and-click 10 MP A1000 IS camera for mah birthday and thought I'd just share that I've become an amateur photo artist! And by amateur I mean critically so, I'm still trying to figure out what the hell an ISO is and why adjusting it for certain situations changes the whatever in the photo and...well, huge report, I know, and if I do end up taking photos I'll most likely not post them here. But what the heck, it's hella fun and I might as well see what I can do with it - apparently it's top-of-the-line for Powershot point-and-clicks right now.

There was something else I was going to report too, but dang. Anyway, that Ariel painting I did a few weeks ago was a lot of fun, and I'm considering doing a few more of those, or something like them. If they weren't Disney it'd be ideal, I just feel funny making Disney fanart, even though I love looking at them. I need to figure out how to properly add textures into my art...I tried downloading a trial version of Corel Painter 11 and I LOVE it, but seeing as I've only got 30 days to play around with it there's only so much I can do. It'll be back to PS I guess.

Anyone know if you've got to have a premium membership to change your journal layout? This boring one is driving me crazy, and it's been years since I last played with CSS, I kind of want to try it again.
